Meaning
The Ramraksha Stotra is a powerful protective hymn composed by sage Budhakaushika. In this stotra, every part of the body is protected by invoking different names and attributes of Lord Rama. Lord Shiva revealed this stotra to sage Budhakaushika in a dream. Ramraksha literally means 'the armor of Rama.' Regular recitation protects from all dangers, destroys sins, and fulfills all desires. The verse 'Ramo Rajamanih sada vijayate' (Rama, the crown jewel among kings, is ever victorious) is the most celebrated verse from this stotra.
