Meaning
The Lalitha Sahasranamam is from the Uttarakhanda of the Brahmanda Purana, narrated in a dialogue between Hayagriva and Sage Agastya. It contains 1000 divine names of Goddess Lalita (Tripurasundari). The dhyana shloka describes the sindoor-complexioned, three-eyed goddess adorned with a ruby crown, holding a noose, goad, flower arrows, and bow. The stotra describes her beauty from head to toe, her cosmic power, her role in destroying Bhandasura, her kundalini nature through the six chakras, and her identity as the supreme Parabrahman.
