Meaning
Lord Vitthal has been standing on a brick for twenty-eight yugas (ages). His consort Rakhumai stands to his left in divine splendor. The Supreme Brahman came to meet Pundalik. The Bhima river flows at his feet, liberating the world. He wears a tulsi garland, hands on his waist, yellow silk around his waist, and musk on his forehead. Gods and celestials come daily for his darshan, with Garuda and Hanuman standing before him.
Benefits
Regular recitation of Vitthal Aarti enhances devotion, washes away sins, and brings inner peace, especially for devotees of the Warkari tradition. Particularly beneficial on Ekadashi.
