Born in Mathura, raised in Gokul, Yashoda's child, Nanda's Kanha. He killed Putana, slew demons, lifted Mount Govardhan to save Gokul. Friend of the Pandavas, brother to Draupadi, he taught the Gita to Arjuna with joy. Protector of devotees, lord of all.
