Meaning
We wave the aarti to Khandoba, Malhari Martand, the lord of the universe, ever blissful on the fort of Jejuri. He slew the two demons Mani and Malla, hence called Malhari (slayer of Malla). He shines with Banai, his consort. Devotees shower turmeric (bhandara). With a sword in hand, accompanied by Chamunda, he is the father of Shanmukha (Kartikeya), an incarnation of Shankara, repeatedly destroying the wicked.
Benefits
Reciting Khandoba Aarti destroys enemies, removes fear, increases valor, and bestows the grace of the family deity. Especially beneficial on Sundays and Champa Shashti.
