We wave the aarti to Eknath Maharaj, the refuge of devotees. Residing in Paithan, disciple of Janardan Swami, he propagated the Bhagavat Dharma and destroyed worldly suffering. He taught spiritual knowledge to all people, showed love for Pandurang to everyone. He composed Bharuds (folk songs) to teach people, gave the nectar of devotion to all, broke caste discrimination and united everyone. On the banks of the Godavari in Paithan, Eknath Swami was an ocean of devotion.
